It reveals notes of blackberry, terroir and slight notes of blackberry, strawberry, ripe redcurrant associated with hints of ripe black fruit, licorice / licorice stick, chocolate, caramelized oak as well as an imperceptible hint of pepper and cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well balanced, gourmande and offers a beautiful juicy / acid frame, minerality, fleshiness, a slight suavity, a good structure as well as a beautiful silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of strawberry, crushed raspberry, juicy blackberry and slight notes of crushed / ripe redcurrant combined with slight touches of liquorice stick, tobacco, spices and a subtle hint of oak. Tannins are well-built, elegant and very slightly firm. Good length and good persistence. A beautiful, fresh fruity, racy, well structured and gourmand wine."
